Well I was in the mood of cheese so I decided to try something new. I took a slice of American cheese and cut it into 4 squares and put one square on each of four tortilla chips. I put it in the toaster oven and left it in there until the cheese was melted. Then of course I opened the oven and tasted my new invention. It was actually pretty good. If there was any critique I would say that the chips I had were of inferior quality and too salty. I think it would be very good on not overly salty tortillas. I dare you all to try it :-).

    Which cheese do you use?

Melting cheddar is better (and with guacamole, salsa, sour cream, jalapenos, maybe beans).

I use either yellow or white American cheese squares. Those are easiest to use and fit well when quartered.
