    today in school we started learning about evolution for a regents subject. i know that evolution is ttly against the torah, so why are we learnng it? do the rabbanim say its ok if ts for us to strenghtn our belief in the truth?

    Some rabbonim do believe in evolution. You should do your research before you assume that evolution automatically means the world is trillions of years old.

    Hopefully your teacher wasn’t teaching it as fact. That presumed, people over the years thought lots of ridiculous ideas which we now know are so, yet we still learn about them. Like the world isn’t flat- fyi.
