I have seen that some organization like Aish.com offer Torah telepartnership for Jews is galus to study with for an hour once a week. But I can’t claim to be Jewish. And I’m a bit too headstrong and have difficulty revering any person, but I would like to try to get the perspective from someone who studies Torah so my view point will be better educated and I can seek the common ground beyond my own self interest. So I’m looking for a chavruta partner who is haShem fearing but does not have the office of ‘Rabbi’ ‘Teacher’ or otherwise demands their position to be revered as a superior.
Is this possible? Or would this type of communication be forbidden to a regular Jew?
