What is Chabads infatuation with 770? Has the number taken on holy connotations somehow? If the U.S. Postal Service had assigned them the address of 768 Eastern Parkway instead of 770, would they be pledging $768 to tzedaka instead of $770 and making all sorts of references to 768 instead of to 770?

And why is the building at 770 replicated elsewhere? Is there something inherently holy about its architecture?

I’d like to thank all the YW posters. We have all done a really good job of not doing chabad fighting on this website.

Not as holy as any place in Tel Aviv, or any place in E”Y for that matter.

This, of all things, is your bone to pick with lubavitch?
