Does anyone know if and where the story of Shlomo Ha’melech and Gam Zeh Ya’avor appears? Tanch, Gemara, midrash?
what story is that?
The Medrash tells a story of a man with many problems who came to seek advice from Shlomo HaMelech, the wisest of all men. After listening to his many complaints, Shlomo HaMelech gave the man a ring engraved with the words “Gam Zeh Ya’avor,” meaning, “This [pain] too shall pass.”
