I know someone who is looking for the best pen to write small notes in the margin of his Gemorrah.
He is currently using a Pilot G-2 0.38 gel pen.
Any Learners here have a favorite pen, of which you would like to extoll its virtues?

I prefer to use a lead pencil with a small width.

I used to write in all of my Sefarim. Now I jot all of my comments (which aren’t many) in a spiral notebook.

If you’re going with a pen, the thinnest you can get is definitely the best, so I’ll second that.
They make point 3 lead pencils which write very small letters.
I used to use a mechanical pencil. 0.2mm lead. Super fine writing.
Try a Micron 005. It is an artist pen that I use for my calligraphy/safrus work, but also to write in seforim. Can’t be beat, but has to be used with a gentle touch – otherwise you will destroy the tip very quickly.
.20 mm line width, and no need to press on the pen like a ball point, and no risk of ink bleeding like with a gel pen.
