    A few comments.

    Popa and bar shattya were in Edmenton for shabbos. If you live in Edmonton, maybe you saw us. We davened in Beth Israel, obviously.

    We heard some canadians singing the national anthem on the trail. We didn’t catch the whole thing, but as near as we can tell, it goes like this:

    G-d keep our land, mosquito free!

    Canadians are the most politely unhelpful people in the world. The end.

    I think it is really endemic of the culture. They are polite because they want to be perceived that way. But they could care a less to actually help you.
