The Nazareth Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday complied with a police request to extend the remand of 13 citizens involved in violent protests in northern Israel on Monday, in Nazareth and Um el-Fahm, their response to the IDF Shayetet 13 commando operation against the Gaza flotilla.

Nine of the suspects were ordered held for an additional four days, three suspects for three additional days, and the last suspect for one day. Another suspect was released by the court. Police plan to appeal the court’s decision to release him.
