    I am not modding any more asifa posts, whatsoever. Frankly, I don’t know what is appropriate, and I don’t want to wade through them.

    Let’s talk about something non-controversial, like the tznius in Flatbush in the E. 20’s.

    How come mod 95 never made a real post before this one.

    I never wanted to start a topic before. So I just posted like this so I wouldn’t have to leave the modding page. -95

    The asifa topic is no different to any other so called contentious topic that posters should feel free to debate and put forward their views but then ultimately follow their rav, only that this topic goes against the essence of YWN. Is this why you dont want to allow any more posts thru? If the post is clean then post it. What do you care? This is a major story and I would expect any reputable site to carry it for a while yet

    SG: I disagree. We can discuss the concept but I dont think we should be discussing whether or not the gedolim wasted our time. There are defensive people bent on discrediting the Rabbeim to clear their concienses. If it was a talk of hashgofa it would be fine.

    Syag and 95 thats fair enough. I wasnt sure from which angle you were coming. So when 95 said he’s not modding any more asifa posts what he really means is he’s not modding any more rabbanim-bashing posts.

    The tznius problem is not just in the E20’s, we have it in Marine Park.

    I thought my point was obvious, but apparently not.

    I understand completely why this is what you want to talk about, and I don’t think that is wrong. I also think YWN should facilitate the discussion.

    I just don’t have the strength to go through all your questionable comments, and decide which ones can go up. So I’m not modding them. And that’s that. Some other mod will mod them. And you’ll know I’m on when only other posts are going through.
