Every day I walk past this guy. I have no idea who he is. All I know is that he drinks a cup of coffee at eight o clock every day… And that’s about it… Today his hair was slightly frizzled, so I guess I took a double glance cause he said hey you sir what’s that sympathetic look for? Everyday you look me up and down as if I’ve got some sorta prolem… What is it? Could ya please let me know? I was horrified. I didn’t think I looked him up and down everyday.. Just today I did. I think people naturally show it in thier appearances when tgey feel sorry for someone.. It’s naturally there… Like going red out of embarrassment.. How can you help such a thing? I just automatically put my teeth over my lips I can’t help it!! Pointers please???thanks!!

Go give him a big Shalom Aleichem and ask about his family and hobbies.

Or, if he’s not a Yid, just wish him Good Morning and smile when you walk past him.

Sounds like he actually wanted to start a conversation. But yes, looking someone up and down is rude. Always pay attention to what the other person thinks you are thinking.

I’m confused. Here you say you are a sir, yet elsewhere it was implied that you are a woman. See here:http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/coffeeroom/topic/idaven
