Sorry, that was in poor taste considering AYC would probably not have found it funny. Was pretty surprised you would do that. Pictured you more thoughtful. Maybe Popa would make a better “victim” next time. He doesnt get insulted.

What trust? As far as I’m concerned, a user’s profile is public and there is no reason that someone should be allowed to hide it. The fact that users such as Joseph and real-brisker have managed to change their display name does not mean that their profiles should be hidden. Either way, real-brisker seems to have multiple profiles which is against the CR rules so why should the mods not be allowed to reveal that, especially when he uses it to play a mean trick on somebody who has gone through enough pain already?

The way around this, to stop people impersonating other posters, could be to give every poster a subtitle. Doesnt matter what. Because that cannot be copied.

42 – I actually do think it is a breach of trust. Had I wanted everyone to know it was me I would have announced it. The reason why I didn’t create a new account which would be totaly anonyomus was because I DID trust the mods. But I guess I was proven wrong.

As far as the mods telling on you, my (tho worthless) opinion is that if it was someone else, they may not have. I think AYC has been hurt enough and these posts were probably MEANT to tease US but they came out mocking him/her (specifically the second post) In touchy situations it is better to err on the side of caution.
Syag – I wasn’t trying to fool anyone, even for a second. I said it clearly in last years april fools prank thread, and whoever remembers the same shtick was done with Joseph and DY. So I didn’t think anyone would get fooled. I just think the Mod could have pointed it out in a nicer way, for whoever did (not sure how) get fooled.
I dont know how having seen it twelve months ago would clue me in to the fact that a hello from AYC was a joke, but I am, after all, kalos daas. And appearantly somewhat gullible as well. hey, maybe next year you can come in as a mod and give out some fake personal info.
Real-brisker, we seem to be on different pages here. The profile I linked to is not your “main profile”, it is another profile, one that you seem to be using in addition to your main one and which you changed the name of to ayc. For all I know, it is not you at all but rather someone impersonating you. That is why I don’t like the multiple profiles with changed names.
42 – It is mine. I had asked before I made an additional account. Regardless of the matter, I dont think it is fair to publicly spell out a profile name. For all you know it could be my real name, or something that could give away my real life identidy. That is why forums have the profile name, and the ability to create a “Screename”.
