As one does a cursory glance at the works / words of our holy Nevi’im, one sees the great compassion the Navi felt for his people, while he had to go about his duty rebuking. Said this Gadol – obviously if this ‘navi’ claims to be able to tell people’s past, it’s not from a Holy source, HaShem would not have chosen him, a man with an evil anger.
