Someone mentioned in one of the news stories that there are 6 Gedolim who are in need of Tefilos. I know of 3.

Chaim Yisroel ben Chana Tirel (Rav Belsky)
Horav Yosef Shalom ben Chaya Musha (Rav Eliyashav)

How about fasting this Thursday Yom Kippur Kotton Mukdom:- Approximately 12 hours, so fast 2 for each Godol respectively.
I am no big shot nor famous person, but have met 5 of these Gedolim [most of them several times], and & the father of the 6th one.
There is an ancient practice at this time of the year to reflect on exactly 1/2 year from now, as we head into days of Pesach, 1/2 year from Sukkos.
In most leap years, opening verses of Acharei Mos [Keri’as haTorah of Y’K morning} are actually leined on Nisson 10th, be it a Monday morning or Thursday morning [then only 50% of the time] or Shabbos Mincho; This timing clearly is no accident.
