Why do some folks work so hard on getting their picture in the centerfold of the frum papers? The ones who like to stick themselves in front of a snapping happy-to-comply photographer. Usually by running behind a notable just before the pictures are snapped.
As in Angel?
Why would anyone want to do that? Why would a Frum paper have such a thing?
GAW. Angel can’t even get a headshot in a heimishe paper these days.
what about the rabbis who do the same thing?
But the paper thinks it sells better if they put in their photos:-………. How about the frum newspapers putting some pictures of the other 50% of the human race if they really care to sell better? Putting a picture of a Chasunoh with the Chosson & [grand]father & rabbi, but nothing of the bride & [grand]mother is insulting to the guest of honor.
& when Sarah Palin &/o Hillary Clinton become the next presidents of the United States of America in 2012 & 2016 respectively, then will the frum newpapers cease to print pictures of the President of the United States of America?
Some people, I guess, have no rest unless they know which Rav and Rosh Yeshiva ate what type of kugel at whose simcha during the previous week.
By the way, you can email in your own picture to the Yated and they’ll put it in if it has someone important enough in it. I know someone who does it. You may have seen him in a chicken suit one year.
