November 11, 2011 7:00 am at 7:00 am #958586ZeesKiteParticipantYes, I know. It’s what people do when they have unfinished business.
November 11, 2011 4:40 pm at 4:40 pm #958587ZeesKiteParticipantHey! You missed this!
November 11, 2011 5:05 pm at 5:05 pm #958588i love coffeParticipantSleep talking is when someone is having a dream…
Just make sure to never wake up someone in the middle of sleep talking or sleep walking. It could be dangerous.
November 11, 2011 5:14 pm at 5:14 pm #958589BTGuyParticipantI don’t know, but I guess we have to ask them when they are sleeping.
November 11, 2011 5:19 pm at 5:19 pm #958590adorableParticipantcause they wanna talk more than they possibly can during the day, so the leftovers come out at night.
November 11, 2011 5:42 pm at 5:42 pm #958591JotharMemberAnd I know that I’m right, ‘cuz I hear it in the night.
November 13, 2011 1:00 am at 1:00 am #958592YW Moderator-42ModeratorIf someone says over a dvar Torah while asleep, are they mikayem the mitzvah of talmud Torah? What if their roomate is listening, are they mikayem teaching Torah?
November 13, 2011 1:05 am at 1:05 am #958593bein_hasdorimParticipantHave you ever tried to put two sleep talkers in a room, to see if they’d have a conversation while sleeping?
You should try it, It’s hysterical.
(sometimes you need an intermediary)

November 13, 2011 1:50 am at 1:50 am #958595bein_hasdorimParticipantIt’s an Eis Ratzon, to ask them to lend you money.

November 13, 2011 2:27 pm at 2:27 pm #958598HLMMembermoskidoodle – ha ha thats funny.
We are learning this is psycology now, its really cool!!
November 13, 2011 3:31 pm at 3:31 pm #958599yentingyentaParticipantI’ve always talked in my sleep. in camp bunk mates would tell me in the morning all the conversations i had while i was asleep. they never made sense but they thought it was funny i could have a back and forth conversation while sleep talking. now i would be scared to share a room with ANYONE cuz i’m scared of what i would say. there’s lots of stuff in nursing school that should NEVER be repeated elsewhere.
November 13, 2011 4:48 pm at 4:48 pm #958600Doodle-Man™Memberwow gilgul that is one long name did you use to be somebody else?
November 13, 2011 5:25 pm at 5:25 pm #958601✡onegoal™Participant42- I don’t know if this is a raya, but I learnt (I don’t remember where) that you should think thoughts of Torah before you go to sleep because this way when you are sleeping you will be thinking/dreaming thoughts of Torah and getting mitzvos the whole time.
moskidoodle- (S)he’s hot going to answer you if (s)he’s blocked, but judging by the screen name (s)he is a former poster because how else would (s)he have been accused as Joseph?

June 11, 2013 7:05 am at 7:05 am #958603Shopping613 🌠ParticipantYa, i used to sleep-eat, perfectly normal, right?
June 11, 2013 10:49 am at 10:49 am #958604haifagirlParticipantI sometimes dream that I’m eating, and as I wake up I’m still bentching.
June 11, 2013 2:53 pm at 2:53 pm #958605Oh Shreck!ParticipantI was sleep posting last night.
June 11, 2013 3:33 pm at 3:33 pm #958606Sam2ParticipantHaifagirl: I’ve done that before. I asked a Shaila about it because I would actually Bentsh and make Brachos while sleeping. My roommate once told me that one night I was saying Asher Yatzar over and over again. And no, I didn’t wet the bed.
June 11, 2013 9:57 pm at 9:57 pm #958607WIYMemberThis topic freaks me out.
June 13, 2013 12:41 am at 12:41 am #958608VogueMemberunderstandably so, sheidim apparently make people who don’t wet their beds say Asher Yatzar, which in a sleep talkers case, is a bracha levatela.
