I once heard a story that the Brisker Rav was seen drinking water outside the Sukkah. His talmidim asked him why he is not machmir to drink only in the Sukkah like the halacha says, after all, he kept many other “chumras”. The Rav answered that he does not keep chumros, rather, what everyone sees as chumras are actually sfeikos in which he is machmir. By drinking in the Sukka, the halacha specifically says that it is only an extra hiddur and is not in any way a safeik.

People run far and wide to receive a Bracha form a Tzaddik… Rebbe……. Mekubal. here the Rama promises a Bracha to one who is careful to even drink water in the Succa. If the Rama were alive, how long would the line be to get a Bracha from him??? Here we can get one guaranteed!!!
The brisker Rav probably did not seek Brachos form anyone………..
Obviously the Brisker Rav did mitzvas lishmah, not for the rewards.
As long as he drinks brisk tea, he can drive all he wants.
