[The rabbinic ruling] on this issue is unequivocal: For reasons of [modesty]
The funniest part, is that the Post doesn’t even try to represent it as not being a feminist agenda. The story is a “human interest” story, about the poor ultra-orthodox women who want to be volunteer EMT’s.
hee hee, Pops. Gotcha. Are you one of the friends who call him 80? Or is 80 calling you 80 in return? Either way, Mazel Tov on your new subtitle! We, at YWN humbly crown you as our dear friend (ok, we also call you that) Mr. 80. Congratulations, use it well, and may you be zoche to live until 180.
PBA -That’s not funny at all. I looked at that article and decided it was only to make Frum Jews look bad. This isn’t a Chiddush, but the Chiddush is -the article was written by a possible Frum guy named Reuvain. He obviously reads this newsblog.
So a question to Reuvain -why only pick the view of the guy who is vehemetly against this, as opposed to bringing down other views -pro and against, that was posted here also?
