Every time i open a bottle of orange juice or a yogurt/pudding the stuff on the lid splatters on my shirt! And i only wear white shirts!any eitzos?! Somebody help!! AAAHHHH!!!
September 1, 2011 7:59 pm at 7:59 pm #805280happiestMemberTry holding it away from your body when you open it. It might work. Also for a yogurt, before opening it, I usually like press my fingers down on the wrapper (foil usually) to get the stuff that’s on it, off of it.
I have no idea if you can understand what I said but worth a try.
September 1, 2011 8:01 pm at 8:01 pm #805281apushatayidParticipantTo avoid stains
Only eat plain yogurt or vanilla pudding.
Drink Water.
Drink from a bottle with a “sports cap”.
By those “gogurts” that you squirt right into your mouth.
Wear an apron or a smock.
September 1, 2011 8:03 pm at 8:03 pm #805282ToiParticipantI’ll try to figure it out; its worth it;my dry cleaning is through the roof. any more ideas ppl?
September 1, 2011 8:04 pm at 8:04 pm #805283deiyezoogerMemberwith yogurt you can try to poke a hole with a straw instead of opening it.
September 1, 2011 8:05 pm at 8:05 pm #805284babygooseParticipantdon’t you know the old rule: aim it at the person sitting across the table
(but make sure they’re not the one opening it on you!)
September 1, 2011 8:25 pm at 8:25 pm #805285CheinMemberDrill a hole under it and let it leak into a bottle.
September 1, 2011 8:53 pm at 8:53 pm #805286adorableParticipantyou are really bored. this thread is so cute.

All the more reason to switch to colored shirts.
September 1, 2011 9:12 pm at 9:12 pm #805289deiyezoogerMemberSo BPT should I have a matching shirt for all difrent flavours?…
September 1, 2011 9:12 pm at 9:12 pm #805290ItcheSrulikMemberWear colored shirts.
September 1, 2011 9:25 pm at 9:25 pm #805291deiyezoogerMemberOK, I can wear a brown shirt for chocolate yogurt, a blue for blueberry a white for vanila but do you think I can wear a pink one for strawberry?…
September 1, 2011 9:52 pm at 9:52 pm #805292bptParticipant“should I have a matching shirt for all difrent flavours?…”
Won’t be necessary. Once you go color, you’ll be so chilled, these sloppy accidents won’t happen

grape juice, or cherry Soda. It’s a win- win situation. They think I’m giving them Kavod, and I am. The Kavod of walking around with a purple tie-dye shirt.
I’m just kidding, I’m an extremely clean and careful person, that seldom gets dirty or any stains on my clothes ….Ha…Ha..HATCHOOOOW!
Darn It!!! How do get fruit punch out of an oxford?
September 2, 2011 1:02 am at 1:02 am #805295ronrsrMemberDo what I do: make peace with stains. Accept them as a necessary and colorful part of your wardrobe.
September 2, 2011 1:13 am at 1:13 am #805296aries2756ParticipantDid you try putting a napkin or paper towel over it when opening?
September 2, 2011 1:31 am at 1:31 am #805297always runs with scissors fastParticipantToi, Toi, toi,,,you’re opening it way too fast. I seriously use to have this problem too. You just have to manipulate the foil or plastic top SLOWLY.
September 2, 2011 3:19 am at 3:19 am #805298minyan galMemberAlways carry a “Tide To Go” stain stick with you. Tjey work very well.

September 2, 2011 8:16 am at 8:16 am #805302mustangriderMemberRelax! Slow down! Breathe! Now take the bottle u wanna open, tilt it slightly AWAY from you and turn the cap SLOWLY….. see? That wasn’t sooo hard was. It? 🙂
September 2, 2011 11:06 am at 11:06 am #805303September 2, 2011 1:01 pm at 1:01 pm #805304oomisParticipantDon’t laugh, this just happened to me before I read your post, with a container of “smooth” yogurt. I am going back to Chobani.
September 2, 2011 4:20 pm at 4:20 pm #805305yitayningwutParticipantToi- Open it slowly, and do not hold it in the air when you open it. Place it on a flat surface and hold it down firmly with one hand and open very slowly with the other. You shouldn’t have this problem anymore.
September 2, 2011 4:58 pm at 4:58 pm #805306inspiredteenMemberAbout the yogurt – I always put it in front of my mouth and then anything that squirts goes right on in! Kinda gross to do that with OJ tho – I don’t usually have that issue with OJ. I would just hold it away from me. 🙂 Good Luck!!!!
September 2, 2011 5:12 pm at 5:12 pm #805307HaLeiViParticipantTo continue what alwaysRunning and yitay said, sometimes it helps to rest your hand on the paper that you are pulling off, so that you can control the speed of openning. It’s the initial pul that gives the splash.
September 2, 2011 5:20 pm at 5:20 pm #805308CheinMemberAre there any “how to” videos demonstrating this online?
September 2, 2011 5:22 pm at 5:22 pm #805309bombmaniacParticipantwear coloured shirts.
September 4, 2011 3:37 am at 3:37 am #805310always runs with scissors fastParticipantsend a registered letter of official complaint to the govenor.
September 4, 2011 3:51 am at 3:51 am #805311squeakParticipantSimple solution to the yogurt/pudding problem: Poke a tiny hole in the top of the foil before opening (use the corner of the back of your spoon, or the tine of a fork if you eat yogurt with a fork). This releases the air pressure inside and will guarantee that nothing will squirt out when you peel back the foil.
September 4, 2011 4:12 am at 4:12 am #805312zalmanParticipantwear a bib
