Is there such a thing? I became frum after marriage, so I didn’t get to go. I’ve also never been to Israel. I feel like I’ve missed something so big, I don’t know how to miss it. Every time I turn around, someone else I know is making aliyah. Don’t get me wrong, I am just thrilled for my friends, especially when it’s a long-held dream.

This would have to wait until after my kids are grown if I went overseas. Also, my husband is not at all interested in even considering making aliyah. But he’s never been either, so maybe that would change… or maybe it wouldn’t…

I don’t think that exists exactly in the format of a seminary. However there is Ohr Naava in Brooklyn which has various shiurim and activities and events for from girls and women throughout the week. There ate also programs for learning any subject over the phone with a live partner like partners in Torah.

When I went to sem thirty years ago, and this was a US sem, we had some older women (some a bit older) in our class. Myabe that’s an option. There are also night classes, and amazing classes online or by phone. If you have the discipline to set up a schedule you could grow immeasurably, especially if you establish personal contact with any of your favorites.

check Aish, they have trips/learning tailored for married women…I believe Lori Palatnik is an organizer. she is an excellent author and lecturer.

If you live in new York, you can try bais Chana (I think that’s what it’s called). It’s seminary for women in Crown Heights (Lubavitch). Women of all ages go there, and they cater to women who do not have yeshiva background. My best friend went there in her 30’s when she got married. You’ll fit in at any stage/age, and you don’t have to go wait to go overseas to have the sem experience. Then, when you are ready, later, you can look into going to sem in Israel, even during a vacation visit during the summer or any time of year. Eyhat(aish hatorah for women) and neve would gladly take students there for only brief periods, if you’re committed to learning. You can rent your own apartment, learn part time, and be with your husband the rest of the time while there.
