    The same as tefillin: To keep words of Torah around us at all times. (At least that’s what the pasuk says)

    Indeed ItcheSrulik, it was this, bircas hamozone, and as a ba’al koreh, reading eretz zavat chalav u’dvash so often that prommpted me to make the move. How much of our galus today is self inflicted? In that regard, tefillin and mezuza and even kriyat shma are not funtioning to well.

    so what does everyone think about if the mezuzah is missing a letter or smething then sm bad can happen in ur home? does any1 believe this? and why? is it a superstition that’s making sm that’s a reminder for us into something magical?
