A family member of mine who is wheelchair bound lives in a building with an elevator. Yes, the elevator is old and breaks often. Many of you used the elevator last week or walked 6 flights up in a stuffy hallway.
Being a nice day today, the aid took the patient outdoors. Lo and behold upon return the elevator was not working. When building management was called, the family was told “what can we do”? So we called Hatzolah and Shomrim. Shomrim sent 3 able bodied men who with the help of another tenant in the building carried the person in the wheelchair 3 flights up.
Wow and tizkuh l’mitzvos.
