I had very similar story quite a while ago. You have to confront your boss and try to ask him straight out to give him what he has told you, he has to keep his word or else you’re gonna have to look for a new job!

Ask him if its worth selling his Olam Habah for the few measly dollars he is holding back from you!

Remind him of the averiah of LO SOLIN!!

    Find a new job.

Seriously, if he’s not able/willing to pay you your present salary (never mind any promised raises), then it’s time to get a new job. Immediately.

If you are young and don’t mind a change and getting used to a new system then I agree with The Wold, just get out of there!

Whats the point keeping a job when the boss is not keeping his obligations? Do you want to wait until he owes you thousands of dollers and then quit? Cut your tail and run!!

I think that you should consult a rov as to what you should do/how to handle the situation.

By the way – when matters become a fight, no one wins. It’s important to speak respectfully yet confidently. This is important on many counts – kidush HaShem, tikun midos, and you’re more likely to get what you want if you handle the situation properly.

And of course, whatever you do, daven for Siya’ata Dishmaya. And have extra kavana in Boraich Aleinu. Have other people in mind when you daven – people who don’t have jobs, are at risk of losing their jobs, etc.

    Hatzlocha raba to you.

If he is not paying you appropriately then what makes it a good job? Start looking for a new job while you are still working there. Take the time you need for interviews by going first think in the morning and coming late to work when necessary or going during lunch break. Take a longer lunch break if necessary and don’t feel guilty about it. When you find a new job give him a week’s notice and leave. If you have any vacation or sick days coming to you, use them before you give notice.

If I had a secretary with grammar like yours, I’d have fired her within the first two weeks!

Find a new job and get out quickly.

Make sure you don’t pushed around in the future.
