As for where to find jobs, NETWORK. Talk to everyone you know in the field, ask them who they know, go to user group meetings and talk to people etc.
You might also want to check out http://careers.stackoverflow.com/
Just sending out resumes to jobs on monster or the like is putting your CV in a stack with a LOT of others, not always the best method to find a job.
