because it is very powerful and something we should never forget, to realize the victims of the Shoa were not just numbers but people….
“Because Aish said so. Kapish?”
no, because we should remember…
strange that on such a site, people would turn their noses and make fun of an article about the Shoa…if frum yids don’t care, how will anyone else…sad responses indeed
Mike-my apologies I’m just in one of those moods and got carried away. I read the article and I agree that it is a must read. It is powerful indeed. Thank you!
you just tought me a lesson on being don lkaf zechus. I was also thinking badly of the way you responded and know i see you just weren’t in the best of moods. I’m sorry for thinking badly of you!
mikehall: Thank you so very much for posting the link. It is definitely one of the most powerful articles that I have ever read. The tears are streaming down my face – I don’t know how his grandson found the koach to tell his zaida’s story. He is also a hero for writing it and bringing an actual family back to tell their story. It is so true – we keep talking about the “six million”, but we don’t know any actual names. Well now we do. I am going to ask if I can read this story from the bimah at my shul next Yom Hashoah.
