Were you ever prompted to take real action because of a dream you had? Were the results positive?
I sometimes dream a person I know is somehow suffering, call the person, and find out they were truly going through a rough time.
Other times, although I can’t remember exactly what I dreamt,I awaken with newfound clarity on how to handle a situation.
Is this common?

There was a fascinating article in the Reader’s digest several years ago about a man who kept having recurring dreams about an impending air plane crash. The dreams were so vivid that he actually contacted authorities to warn them about it. His report was recorded and filed. A short time later there was a plane crash that matched exactly to his prophesied description.

That’s pretty spooky. There are a few members of my Mother’s family that had similar experiences. My Grandmother a”h once made a long distance trip to visit my aunt (back in the day when telephones were not so prevalent) insisting that she sensed that she was ill. Sure enough she was. I don’t have this unique ability. The only action I take on account of a dream is when I have nightmares of being chased by some one and I’m unable to run away, I take it as a sign that I need a break from work and do something wholesome.
