What is the proper way to store the Seforim when not in use? Some Shules have a Gabbai that puts away all the Seforim after Minyan but many do not.
Leaving them on the bench that we sit on seems disrespectful to me.
Some Shules have a small pocket from the bench in front that you can slide the Sefer into. However, what I see happening sometimes is that people have their shoes/feet right next to the Sefer or even touching it.
Can the Rabbis or Presidents making speeches bring this to the attention of the Mispallelim or am I the only one who notices this?
