    Is there a place online to learn how to type?

    I found the best way is to just take something (book, long article) and just start typing. Start slow, a little bit of time per day, gradually increasing the amount of time you spend.

    Get Mavis Beacon learn to type CD it works really great.

    A good trick is to have an image of the keyboard setup on your screen. This way you never look at the keyboard, even before having any experience.
