Well, now that I’m 18 and I can go out to vote, I would vote for Thomas Sowell if he runs for president.

I will vote for the one who will stand up and promise “change” – not change in our pockets or change we can believe in – change that we already believe in. I won’t vote for a person that asks you to have “hope” in what he does against the will of the people. I will vote for someone that has already initiated a way to “win the future” and not by spending more money rather by giving us the money to spend.

Although I have yet to disclose my preferred candidate (who has recently received much media attention), but you can see some of my preferences and issues here:

    observanteen,

    Refua Shelaimah.

I’m surprised and quite impressed that you know who is Thomas Sowell. I don’t think that he would run for office. But if he did, I’d vote for him too.

I think that the elections are mostly a popularity contest, with the most likable guy winning. Each side has 40% locked away, with the middle 20% determining who wins. If the republicans want to win, they need to put forward a young, healthy looking candidate that can speak well and inspire. That was not McCain, nor Bob Dole.

    ABO – anybody but O’bummer

observanteen, I think your choice would be excellent, but he definitely has no plans to run, and no major support, as well as being too old. He would have definitely made an excellent candidate.

Interesting how you know about Tom Sowell, and weren’t familiar with Rand Paul.

fabie: I know Tom, cuz we have his book “Basic Economics”, and it’s great! He breaks down such a complicated subject in bits and pieces for the reg. ppl to understand. Also, being that I’m a Republican, I think he would be great, cuz he’s brilliant and BLACK for goodness’ sake….:)

(Oh, and PLEASE don’t remind me of the incident with Rand Paul! I’m soooooo embarrassed!:/)
