Does anyone have an Inglesina Trip? or a Peg Pergo SI and if so do you like it?

We didn’t buy it, the aunts bought it as a baby gift. I was just stating a fact that it is a really great carriage.
I’m not pushing a stroller these days, but whenever the time comes, I really have my eyes on those 3 wheel (or 4, but bigger in back / smaller and closer together in front) models. And it MUST have those inflatable tires, with treads like a bicycle.
If I’m gonna do the mileage, its gonna be in style and comfort!
Do not get one that you have to pump the tires with air! Everyone winds up losing the pump!
The citi mini is great. Easy to push, very easy to fold, & comfortable for the baby.
got the uppababy, its a great stoller, and basket is huge! big and heavy to carry though!
From what I heard the uppababy is on the same level as the bugaboo but much easier to open and close.
The citi-mini is excellent as is the larger version the Baby Jogger. It is one handed open and close so you can do it while holding the baby.
Mclarens are great (quest/techno). They’re not too cheap though.
People are happy with Inglesinas as travel strollers, but quality isn’t too amazing.
If you need a second stroller for busses and taxis (i am assuming you don’t drive) why not just go to the store with your baby and check out what fits you best. What is the most comfortable for you to open and close while holding your baby and what is not too heavy to shlep while holding your baby. Since no one here knows you it is foolish to give advice when only you really know what will work for you. Both you and your baby have to be comfortable with the choice so it is best for you to try it out first hand.
aries2756, I HAVE THE UPPABABY. When I was getting a carriage I was debating between the Bugaboo and Uppababy. I was told they are just about the same and the Uppababy was a lot cheaper. Now that I am a bit more experienced, I can tell you the the bugaboo has a MUCH smoother ride and is fells lighter when you wheel it. It is ideal if you do not have a car and do a lot of walking.
YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET! For me it would have been worth spending more and getting the Bugaboo.
If you have a car and do less walking then city mini should do the trick.
Huvi, a big basket is nice, and I enjoy it, but It’s not the main thing. The main thing is a very smooth ride. (specially since we dont have a car and walk mostly everywhere)
Heres some stroller advice dont use the roof of your stroller for a shopping cart this is an obvious sakana

when meeting a friend on the street put both of your strollers to one side i shouldnt have to walk in the mud just becuase youre chewing the fat

I have the Uppababy, and am thrilled with it. It has tons of features that the bugaboo doesn’t, like the big basket, the fact that it reclines with one hand, the hood, the depth of the seat, the fact that it closes with the seat in it etc. I really did not find that the bugabo wheeled any better. I love the way the uppababy wheels and goes up and down steps. I think at this point anyone who gets the bugaboo is doing it for the name.
My.02 my baby doesnt know the difference (well not the spit up part)? I definately do and I think it is much more comfortable for a baby in a bigger carriage vs an umbrella stroller. No, I don’t think one needs to spend $1000 but I do see the need for a good (bassinet) carriage for those who walk outdoors.
Can I throw in another option? (not neccesarily instead of, but in addition to)
I have an Ergo Baby Carrier – best $100 I’ve spent. I wear my baby all the time. It can go back, front or side. My second was the kind of kid that didn’t want to be put down and the ergo was a lifesaver. I wore my older son when I was 9 months pregnant (on my back). I am still wearing my 17 month old and I am currently 6 months pregnant. Its also more convenient for grocery shopping, subway travel, shul and most other excursions.
Understand, I am not disputing that it is a good carriage, I am enjoying it. For walking Bugaboo has a very smooth ride, to me that is MOST important. It also reclines all the way, while uppababy recline is not very low when your 2 yr. old is sleeping. When I got the carriage I also said Bugaboo is just a name and I am not going to fall for it. (the sponser of my carriage didnt care about $$)
I dont believe Bugaboo is just a name brand.
jl, I know what you are looking for, since I live where you daughter does (I know who you are, yes) anyhow, Inglesina and peg wheels are not really meant for Israeli terrain and don’t last. i would go with the city mini like your DIL! good luck!
Honestly, my DIL has a bugaboo and so do my nieces. For the life of me I can’t get it open or closed. I think you have to be an engineer to figure it out. I also could never do the McClarens so I never go those. For me the easier the better, especially if you have friends, family and babysitters helping you out.
