Can anyone please tell me the significance of this day? How is it celebrated? I have been told that it has the same koach as Purim regarding tefilla. Does any one know a Mekor for this?

You are not aloud to fast on purim katan.
i think it comes from a mishna in yuma that says there is no diff btwn adar aleph and beis (including purim katan) except shaloch monos megillah and matanos leevyonim
so tefillah and getting drunk are the same!!!!!!!
