Honestly speaking who redts you the most shidduchim?
1. friends 2.shadchanim 3.others..teachers,Rabbanim,Reb.,co-wrkers
As many shadchanim will push shidduchim it seems like the regular neighbor will understand more or less what type of person you need–the only prob. is does she know guys like that?
January 12, 2011 10:24 pm at 10:24 pm #728010Divorced_GuyMemberShadchanim by far and in my experience their suggestions are always on point. I sometimes wish they would push the envelope and redt me to women whom they think would say no, as in… what’s the harm in trying, but they usually won’t. They usually only redt a shidduch when they think the girl will probably say yes. That’s my experience.

January 12, 2011 10:46 pm at 10:46 pm #728012mom of a fewMemberas a mother of a girl usually my friends are the ones who redd the shidduchum and are the most on target not her friends who are too busy and the shadchanim have a hard time getting the boys to say yes
because they push so many at time to each boy

January 12, 2011 11:05 pm at 11:05 pm #728014memoMemberlol.. ya the guys always say that they’re bombarded with names…so many times random names that are good like family matches(not people matches–but that’s another story)
the shadchanim have their work cut out for them but they get shidduchim through most of the time…friends are helpful if they know the g and they can give you advice/opinions

2. Family friends.
I was never actually redt a single shidduch from a “professional” Shadchan, despite the fact that I actually still set up meetings w them…. ironic.

Isn’t the definition of the word shidduch a match arranged through a third person?
More accurately (if I’m correct), you could have written “My zivug came through Him”.
January 13, 2011 7:11 pm at 7:11 pm #728020PosterMemberShadchanim. My shidduch was redt and carried through by a shadchan.
