I don’t know anything about Psychology, but I would imagine that in any field, you need to “start from the bottom.” As such, assuming you could get a job with a Bachelor’s and no experience, I would imagine that your first job would probably be below-average in terms of the going rates in the field.
A BA in psychology will not grant you many jobs out there. Neither would a plain “MS in psychology”. A masters in counseling/ Mental Health Counseling ect will give you more opportunities and a higher pay.
Like in many jobs, if you are currently in a graduate level program, some people will hire you than if you are not in such a program. Just an idea….
“Psychology” is a very broad major. You almost always need a master’s in something to get a reasonable job. Connect with the career center at your college for quidance. Most colleges offer free services to graduates.
