The typical 11 year old girl is a fun creature. I know, I teach a bunch of them. Old enough to like to “hang out” but still young enough to giggle and play. You would think that winter vacation would be one thing that an 11 year old girl would look forward to. But for this one girl, instead of building snowmen, drinking cocoa, or going on a family vacation, she spent the morning in the ICU screaming in pain and bleeding out of the orifices of her body. Bekkie is fighting for her life. This is her second bout with cancer and while she has always been a source of optimism and light, things have become much worse in the last 2 days. Her organs are not functioning and she needs our help. Please pray for Rivka bas Rachel Leah. Mention her in your Shemona Esrai, in your tehillim, and think of her every time you see a little girl.I am going to take on saying a asher yatzar with a little more kavana. I would hope you all could do the same.
