my daughter is a senior and looking for a seminary. she is not interested in going to Israel for sem. She would like to stay local, (NY area), but would be willing to go to a close by out of town. What are our options? I keep hearing names but no details. can you help me with names and what they are about. thanx

thanx for the ideas I know of Cleveland, I think that it might be too intense for my daughter. I heard of Toronto and Detroit but have no idea who to contact and how to find out more about them. The Far Rockaway sem sounds interesting, what kind of girls go there? Who would I contact?

Machon Basya Rochel is an EXCELLENT seminary. My very close friend goes there and she absolutely loves it and she is gaining a lot from it. She says that the staff is very warm and the classes are incredible. Also, I heard that they have dorming options available for girls who are from out-of-town. They are having an open house tomorrow, by the way, from 12-1:30, in the white shul (where the seminary is located.)

Hatzlacha! Let us know how it goes!
