Deputy Prime Minister Silvan Shalom is calling for retaliatory action in light of the PA (Palestinian Authority) boycott of good originating in communities throughout Yehuda and Shomron. The ban targets about 500 Israeli companies. Shalom believes it is time to get tough, threatening to compensate Israeli factories hit by the boycott with funds intended for the PA.
During an address, Shalom stated if the boycott continues, the cabinet must make the correct decision soon, and he feels using tax funds intended for the PA for compensatory payments to victims of the boycott as a good place to start. Shalom, who also serves as minister of Galil and Negev development explained that his office is already contacting the ministry of industry & trade and they are discussing the logistics involved in such a move.
Schrage Brosh, who heads the Israel Manufacturers Association, has suggested locking out ships from Israeli ports that deliver raw goods intended for PA areas. Brosh explained that Israeli ports are basically a lifeline for the PA and closing them to PA goods would get the message across in a big way.

I don’t think that’s such a good move. It would probably be taken by the international community as an act of war.
i agree 100% with Silvan Shalom #1 i think the international community is ok with you not existing.
