Do not stay home on November 2nd. You count. We are all individuals whose voices add up. Let’s stop sleep walking. The women must be encouraged to make the time to vote in this critical election.

Can Bob Turner win? Of course, if you come out and vote. He has been heard on Fox News, Steve Malzberg, John Gambling.

Bob Turner running against Democrat Incumbent: Anthony Weiner on November 2nd

Same-Sex Marriage: Weiner is a vocal advocate for repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), which defines marriage as a legal union between one man and one woman. He would like nothing more than to redefine the holy rites of matrimony by legalizing same-sex marriage. Turner is unequivocally against legalizing such marriages and supports the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA: Public Law #104-199), which defines marriage as “a legal union between one man and one woman.”

Religious School Funding: Weiner has no interest in changing laws that continue to prohibit public funding for religious institutions (i.e. yeshivas or Catholic schools). Turner believes that laws prohibiting such funding is a form of religious discrimination and violates our constitution. This is huge as the average cost per NYC public school student in 2008-2009 was $16,578. Turner pledges to join forces with members of congress who have attempted to rectify this, but so far have failed. Weiner has stated he is opposed to public funding of religious institutions.

Register to vote and let your voice be heard.
