I was recently forwarded a text message, and I thought I’d pass it on here. If you text the name of a food to 612-276-2467 [612-Brochos], it will respond with the correct Brocho Rishona and Achrona to say. The service is free [like any other text] and is provided by http://www.brochos.com

Actually, funny as it may seem, it won’t respond to questions about foods that may be questionable as to what brochah to make. For example, if u text pizza, it responds “due to the complexity of this item we suggest an alternative method e.g. asking a rabbi for guidance on this matter”
