To First Timer -It beats me why anyone would take an EMT course who isn’t planning on working on an ambulance (or nowadays some hospitals have ER techs). A couple years ago I needed X amount of credits for my semester requirement, so I decided to take a First Aid course to meet this requirement. I didn’t tell anyone that I was previously trained as a medic. How these kids put in their all to do everything correctly, I was very surprised. I would say these kids in my class trained only in First Aid knew more first aid, than almost any EMT I know! It’s what you do to the patient that counts, not the number of letters after your name!
