Depression

Anyone here like to share their thoughts, feelings, suggestions etc. regarding depression that is debilitating?

I would respectfully request that only people who are currently suffering from this illness (and yes, it is an illness, not a weakness or the yetzer horah as some have foolishly suggested. Do an MRI on the brain of someone with depression and you know it is not the yetzer horah at work….) or have suffered in the past, reply to this post.

If you have not experienced it firsthand, you cannot really understand it. The only exception I would make to this request would be a comment by a psychiatrist or psychologist, as they have been trained to deal with the condition.
