Shidduchim – let’s discuss “HE allowed us to mess things up”

My computer is up and down so I didn’t get to contribute to the other now closed thread. But this is so intriguing it deserves a topic of its own.

AZ posits that Hashem didn’t make the mess, we did.

Let’s define the mess – more girls than boys being born? Sounds like Hashem’s doing.

Obviously there are more layers to the shidduch crisis. Have we in fact created the mess? What are some of the factors? Some (ok, I 😉 will say that chinuch is a factor. There HAVE to be other factors. What are they? Can we have a civil discussion in the interestes of working together?

OK, I’ve started the ball rolling though regrettably may not be on as frequently as I’d like. Children, think well before typing. And behave now.
