The “200 feet” range is probably for a setup where there are no walls or floors between the router and the PC, and no radio interference either.
Here are a few ideas that might help. some will require a professional or an amateur who knows what he’s doing.
1) Move the router around. Sometimes it can be in a spot that forces its signal to go thru a thick wall or other object.
2) Get a router with a more powerful signal and better range. I don’t know specific models, but this is something you can investigate online (or maybe other posters can help). If a store salesman can recommend a model and is willing to let you try-and-return if it doesn’t help, that would be the way to go.
3) Sometimes you can add an antenna to the router that will boost its range or focus its signal in a specific direction.
4) If there’s just no way a signal can reach from you router’s location to your PC, you can get a repeater which will echo the signal from the router and pass it along.
Personally, I would try options “1” (cheapest) and “2” (easiest) before anything else.
