Please post any info about any tehillim or yom tefilla gatherings regarding the war in Eretz Yisroel.
DO NOT HAVE ANY DISCUSSIONS ABOOUT THE WAR IN THIS THREAD – JUST LOCATIONS AND TIMES FOR DAVENING.
Feel free to start another thread for discussions.
May we only hear Besuros Tovos in the near future.
January 4, 2009 4:53 am at 4:53 am #633014mdlevineMemberGo to this link and sign up for a kapital or two… of Tehillim. We are at 63% of having the Sefer Tehillim being completed daily as part of TheYeshivaWorld.com community.
Do it as a zchus for our brothers the soldiers that are risking their lives for us!
I had a thought while reviewing the Parsha about Yehuda approaching Yosef. What were the rest of the brothers doing as Yehuda put his life on the line for his brother. For that matter, what was Yaakov and the rest of the family doing when the brothers went down to Mitzrayim. I do not know with certainty what they were doing, however, I can’t imagine that they were not dovenen for the victory of Yehuda. I can’t imagine that the rest of the family did not doven for all of the brothers as they made the trip to hostile territories.
We must do the same. We must do our part and doven for the safety of our brothers who are putting their life on the line for us (no matter where we live) – their brothers and sisters.
May we only hear B’Suros Tovos

Not that Facebook does not have potential serious issues, but if you are already using it there is a tehillim chain which divides the tehillim into 5 prakim which can be said 1 – 7 times a week from now to Tu BiShvat.
Just do a search on Teves tehillim and it should show up. The directions are on the group news as is the grid.
Tizku lemitzvos – and please do NOT join Facebook just for this – join the chain only if you are already on Facebook so that we can elevate the klipa of Facebook for our brothers and sisters in E”Y – looks like mdlevine has a fine chain organized via this site and other media.
