Arsonists attacked a shul in Worms, Germany, foreign media agencies report. The attacker left a note, explaining their actions were motivated by the ongoing conflict between Israel and the PA (Palestinian Authority).
Local authorities explain that eight notes were left on the scene, stating “for as long as the Palestinians don’t have peace, you will not”, adding they were written in poor German.
A firebomb was hurled into a window and Baruch Hashem, damage was reportedly light due to the quick response of firefighters.
The ancient shul was built in the 12th cemetery, destroyed by the Nazis on Kristallnacht, and rebuilt after the war.
