The SuperPharm drugstore chain in Israel has announced that as a result of the findings of a survey involving its stores and cashiers; it will be spending NIS hundreds of thousands to replace the seats used by cashiers in branches around the country.
The study showed that the seats provided for cashiers are simply too uncomfortable, and as a result, the cashiers generally stand for all or at least most of their shift. Management officials expressed concern after learning of the alarming reality, promising expeditious corrective action will be forthcoming.
