The High Court of Justice on Wednesday has given the state 90 days to respond as to why the illegal outpost of Amona has not been destroyed as ordered. Amona in located in the Benjamin Regional Council area of Shomron, near Ofrah.
The Yesh Din organization filed the petition on behalf of PA (Palestinian Authority) residents who insist the “illegal Jewish outpost” was built on their privately owned land.
On Thursday, the High Court will hear a petition filed by the Regavim organization which is seeking to remove Arab homes constructed near Amona; homes which the organization insists are built illegally but to date, no demolition has been issued against them.
