Mayor Michael Bloomberg and NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly took a trip to Washington Wednesday to testify before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee to discuss terrorism in America.
Bloomberg and Kelly told lawmakers that the city needs more anti-terror funding and tougher gun-control laws to fend off terror attacks.
In addition, Kelly told the panel that the bill would also aid in New York City’s efforts to get illegal guns off the streets.
Bloomberg urged the committee to allow for more federal funds for the city to fight terrorism, city the threat is still “very real.”
Prior to visiting Washington, Kelly and Bloomberg visited the Sixth Precinct in Greenwich Village, to thank members for all they did on Saturday night.

One Response
This is absolutely moronic as well as anti constitutional.
A terrorist uses fertilizer and possibly explosives from fireworks to try and make a car bomb and the response from City Hall is “lets violate the 2nd Ammendment some more” “we have to disarm all law abiding people and that will stop fertilizer bomb making terrorists”.
