Pashkavilim are appearing around Yerushalayim regarding the bones located on the planned site of the new fortified emergency room of Barzilai Hospital, in Ashkelon. The posters speak in the name of Gedolei Yisrael Shlita, signed in the names of HaGaon HaRav Nissim Karelitz Shlita, HaGaon HaRav Shmuel Halevy Wosner Shlita and HaGaon HaRav Yosef Sholom Elyashiv Shlita.

The announcement reiterates the prohibition of moving the bones, even if the bones were moved properly, in accordance to halacha by G-d fearing persons. There is no room to categorize the matter as ‘pikuach nefesh’ which may exist in the future. Such claims are simply a distortion of halacha and the way of the Torah since the hospital may be constructed without disturbing the bones.
