Eli Yishai and five other Shas MKs emerged unhurt when an elevator fell two floors in the Knesset Towers in Tel Aviv this afternoon. Firefighters rescued Yishai and the MKs and a MADA examination confirmed that they suffered no harm. Yishai complained that he had to wait 45 minutes before rescue personnel arrived on the scene. While I am glad they all came out OK, I also get some satisfaction that our politicians had to deal with some of the annoyances us lowly Israeli citizens have to deal with.
