NY Governor Paterson is getting much support from a political group in Washington.
Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) released a report on the nation’s most incompetent and unethical governors. Governor Paterson is ranked among the Worst.
The group released a least of the worst 11 Governors based on corruption, competency, and integrity.
The 11 worst governors were listed in no particular order. They are:
Gov. David Paterson (D-NY);
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R-CA);
Gov. Mark Sanford (R-SC);
Gov. Bill Richardson (D-NM);
Gov. Haley Barbour (R-MS);
Gov. Donald Carcieri (R-RI);
Gov. Jim Gibbons (R-NV);
Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-LA);
Gov. Sonny Perdue (R-GA);
Gov. Rick Perry (R-TX);
Gov. Mike Rounds (R-SD);
The group cites Governor Paterson’s scandal involving aide David Johnson as a reason leading to him making the list.

Before you get too enthused – for most of the governors listed, refusing to accept Obama stimulus money (which required state matching funds)is one of the leading “crimes”. It seems this is a left-wing partisan outfit, though it does mention Democrats whose behavior has been totally off the wall.
How come they’re mostly Republicans? is this group supported by Democrats?
It seems they don’t lik erepublicans except of rthe 2 obvius democrats…. Interesting.
Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington is a liberal organization. Any surprise that 9 out of 11 are Republicans? They HAD to say Paterson because they want him out already. So that leaves one democrat on their list – Richardson who they probably want to make sure he doesnt run for President again.

I don’t think that party affiliation has anything to do with being a good or bad governor.
Next year’s list might be heavy with Democrats.
