Senator Gillibrand Condemns Anti-Semitic Incidents In Rockland County

Washington, DC – U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, today expressed outrage at the anti-Semitic threats and graffiti that took place on the eve of Holocaust Remembrance Day in Monsey and West Haverstraw in Rockland County.

“We cannot tolerate harassment and violence motivated by bigotry and hatred in our society. The anti-Semitic acts committed on the eve of Holocaust Remembrance Day in Rockland County are reprehensible. Any crime motivated by hate on the basis of race, ethnic background, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, and gender identity is not just a crime against the individual – it is a crime against a community. Racist and religious intolerance is an attack on the core values that we all share as New Yorkers and will not be tolerated.”

  1. Great article that does not tell us where these the anti-Semitic threats and graffiti were found or detailing what they actually said.
